Ingredients

  • 1-½ lbs 99% Lean Ground Turkey
  • 1 lg can crushed or diced tomatoes
  • 3 /4 cup uncooked oatmeal
  • 2 egg whites lightly beaten
  • 1 /4 cup chopped onion
  • Salt, pepper, onion powder, or garlic powder to your preference

Preparation

  1. Preheat Oven
  2.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  3. Combine Ingredients
  4. In a large mixing bowl combine the ingredients, mixing lightly but thoroughly
  5. Bake for 60 minutes
  6. Press mixture into 8×4 loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes.  Internal temp should be 160 degrees F and meatloaf should not be pink in the center.  Any juice should show no pink color

Tips

Goes great with white rice or potatoes.

Add any veggies or spices you prefer to the mixture before baking

Because of how dry the ground turkey can be, the more liquid you can add via crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup, etc. will help.  I will sometimes add a small can of tomato sauce and large can of crushed tomatoesI
